Del Valle needed a win against Steele on Tuesday night to inch one

game closer to the post season.

With Steele two games up on DV, and in third place in 26-4A district,

DV did what they had to do, and came away with an impressive win over the

Knights with the score....DV 9 - Steele 5.

Now with DV (7-6) needing a most win against Lockhart (3-10) this Friday 4/25/08 at Lion baseball field, and If Hays(11-3) beats Steele(8-5), then DV/Steele will have to play on saturday for the tie-breaker......winner gets the third playoff spot and loser goes home.

HAYS and Canyon will have to play a tie-breaker to become

district champs in 26-4A.
